Armenian swimmer Vahan Mkhitaryan covered a 100-meter freestyle distance in 53.06 seconds, thus qualifying the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics to be held August 16-28 in Nanjing, China.

“Mkhitaryan is the first Armenian swimmer who gained an entry to the 2014 Olympics,” coach Misak Gabrielyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
