LG is allegedly planning to make a return to the tablet market with a device called the G Pad, Digital Spy reported.
Greek website Techblog claims to have received word that the company will unveil the 8.3-inch slate at next month's IFA trade show.
The site has listed hardware specs for the G Pad, with the tablet reportedly featuring a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 1920x1080 full HD display.
LG's new tablet is also said to sport an ultra-thin bezel similar to the recently-announced LG G2 smartphone's, and come encased in aluminium.
The South Korean firm has not released a tablet device since 2011 when the Optimus Pad arrived on the market.
LG has been tipped to showcase the G Pad at the IFA trade show, which takes place in Berlin between September 6 and 11.
