Microsoft rolls out Outreach Program with free Xbox Ones for streamers

Microsoft has unveiled its new Upload Outreach Program. The company will provide aspiring streamers with free Xbox One consoles and games in a bid to help promote the system online, Belfast Telegraph said.

A year of Xbox Live Gold will also be available to successful applicants.

Gamers can enter by recording and uploading a one-minute video about their favourite Xbox 360 or Xbox One game.

Links must be sent to upload@microsoft.com before September 15.

20 console bundles are up for grabs under the scheme, each with a retail price of around £1,322.

Both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will allow players to record gameplay clips via the Twitch app included in both next-generation consoles.

Full details of the Upload Outreach Program can be found on the Xbox One website.
