9,3% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in August 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.

During the reporting period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 9,6%, non-foods’ prices increased by 4,3%, with 11,2% growth in tariffs for services posted.

Consumer prices increased by 0,1-1,0% in August compared to July in 10 Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Talin.

0,2% increase was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
