Armenian Radio to Broadcast in Turkey
Armenian community in Turkey plans to start radio broadcasts in Armenian this year. In the words of editor-in-chief of the Agos Armenian newspaper Hrant Dink, the Armenian community of Turkey has collected $300 thousand for that purpose. "The campaign to collect means started 10 years ago. The Armenian community has its schools and newspapers. Now we work to create Armenian radio in the country. We have submitted an application to the Supreme Council on Radio and Television of Turkey," Hrant Dink said, reports the Turkish Zaman.
