Attacks kill 7, wound dozens in Iraq

Attacks in different parts of the country have reportedly killed at least seven people and wounded dozens.

According the Associated Press, the mayor of the town of Tuz Khormato, Shalal Abdol, said two car bombs went off on Thursday, Oct 31 afternoon in a residential area of the town, killing three people and wounding 35.

Several houses were also damaged in that attack. Tuz Khormato is about 200 kilometers (130 miles) north of Baghdad.

Hours earlier, officials said police found three bodies of women with gunshots to the head in northeastern Baghdad.

And in the northern city of Mosul, a roadside bomb struck an army patrol, killing one. A medical official confirmed the soldier's death.
