Erdogan: Turkey supports peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict

The Nagorno Karabakh conflict is not only Baku’s but Ankara’s problem as well, Turkish Prime Minister said.

As Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated at the meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, “being a priority on our foreign policy agenda, the issue is a crucial one in the context of provision of peace in South Caucasus.”

“Our unconditional support for Azerbaijan in the peaceful negotiated settlement of the conflict will continue,” the Prime Minister said, noting the OSCE Minsk Group as a responsible party in the success of the process.

“U.S., Russia and France must keep the issue in the focus of their attention. Turkey’s possible contribution to peace process was also discussed,” 1news.az quoted Erdogan as saying.
