Armenia brandy production up 10% to reach 15,5 million liters

15 492,2 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-October 2013, with production volume increasing by 10,1% against the same period in 2012 (14 069,1 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 7 885,3 thousand liters of vodka was produced in January- October 2013 against 7 913 thousand liters in 2012.

4 620,3 thousand liters of wine was produced in January-October 2013 against 3 600,5 thousand liters in 2012 (28,3% increase).

During the reporting period, beer production totaled 16 973,8 thousand liters, increasing by 38,7% against 2012 output (12 239,1 thousand liters). Production of champagne increased 46,5% totaling 268,9 thousand liters.

In January-October 2013, production of soft drinks in Armenia increased by 39,5% against the 2012 results to total 47 181,7 thousand liters.
