My Son Shall Be Armenian Film on Armenian Genocide Screened in Ottawa
April 11 Canadian film director Hagop Goudsouzian's 80-minute documentary My Son Shall Be Armenian will be screened at the Establishment of Library and Archives of Ottawa. The screening is organized by Armenian youth unions, a number of NGOs of the Armenian community of Canada and with the assistance of the Armenian Embassy in Canada. The film of Hagop Goudsouzian, who is Armenian by birth, is produced by the National Film Board. The film tells the story of five Montreal residents, who went to the fatherland of their ancestors - Armenia, to gather facts about the Armenian Genocide. A large audience, including Jews and Rwandans, were present at the screening. After the event a news conference was organized, reports the Press Center of the Armenian MFA.
