Budapest Court Verdict Impartial and Fair
The sentence regarding Ramil Safarov is impartial and fair, Head of Hay Dat Office Kiro Manoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, as there is no death penalty in Hungary, the criminal got what he deserved. «Life imprisonment without the right of pardon is an adequate punishment for the crime committed by Ramil Safarov,» he said.
In his turn during a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter political scientist Stepan Grigoryan also remarked the decision of judge András Vaskuti is a fair one. «He [Safarov] is merely a murderer and the trial in Budapest should not be politicized or Safarov should not be presented as a victim. The Azeri officer was judged in compliance with European standards and he got the punishment he deserves,» Grigoryan underscored.
To remind, today court sentenced Ramil Safarov to life imprisonment without the right of pardon for 30 years.
