Davutoglu: Ankara-Yerevan ties depend on peace in S. Caucasus

Ankara-Yerevan rapprochement depends on establishment of peace in South Caucasus, Turkish Foreign Minister said.

"Even if restored, diplomatic ties between Turkey and Armenia can be severed at any time without the peace in South Caucasus," Ahmet Davutoglu said, according to Habertürk TV channel.

"Solid relations have been formed in the region between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia. If it were not for ties in Moscow, Armenia would have been in isolation," the official said.

In conclusion Davutoglu suggested that Armenia should cede Karabakh territories to Azerbaijan as a way out of the isolation, Trend News reported.
