Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sales top 10 million

Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Note 3 handset has sold more than 10 million units to date, Digital Spy said.

The sales figures confirm that the device has become Samsung's fastest selling phablet to date since its launch in late September.

The Galaxy Note 3 took around two months to reach the 10 million sales milestone, while the Note 2 achieved this feat in four months, and the original Galaxy Note in nine months.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Note 3 in Rose Gold White, Rose Gold Black and Merlot Red colour options, joining the original Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink editions on the market.

The Galaxy Note 3 features a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch 1080p Full HD screen, and Google's Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
