Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan met Tuesday, Dec 17, in Stepanakert with Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, ambassadors Igor Popov of Russia, Jacques Fore of France and James Warlick of the United States to discuss settlement of the Karabakh conflict and a number of regional issues.

Both sides stressed peace talks as the only means of the conflict resolution, with President Sahakyan mentioning Artsakh’s full-fledged participation in the negotiations and halt of Azerbaijan’s destructive and aggressive policy as key conditions in the process.

Artsakh Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk also attended the meeting.

Before arriving in Nagorno Karabakh, the international mediators travelled to Armenia and Azerbaijan.
