Govt. suggests convening parliament sitting for Russian gas discussion

The government of Armenia suggested convening a special parliamentary sitting December 20.

The sitting agenda will include a number of bills and international treaties; specifically, the Armenian-Russian agreement for supply of gas, oil products, and unrefined diamonds, as well as sale of the 20% ArmRosGazprom shares to Russia.

Among issues to be discussed are objections of the Armenian President over the bill on introduction of amendments to the laws on state duties, budget system and motor transport.
