Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones has premiered a new clip exclusively through Digital Spy, the entertainment news agency said.

The horror movie is a Latino-themed spinoff from the Oren Peli-created series focusing on a Catholic inquiry into a demonic possession.

Christopher B Landon, who wrote the script for the last three Paranormal Activity films, will write the script for The Marked Ones.

Andrew Jacobs, Jorge Diaz, Carlos Pratts and Gloria Sandovall feature in the cast for the spinoff, which opens in cinemas on January 1, 2014.

Paranormal Activity: 5 will be released on October 24, 2014.
