President signs law on 2014 Armenia's state budget

President Serzh Sargsyan signed a law on Armenia's state budget for 2014.

The National Assembly of Armenia adopted the 2014 state budget at a December 12 sitting.

The consolidated budget income is envisaged at AMD 1 trillion 135 billion, expenditures are set at AMD 1 trillion 245 billion. Budget deficit will amount to AMD 110 billion or 2,3% of GDP, current balance deficit will total 8,6%.

The 2014 state budget also envisages GDP growth of 5,2%, average inflation of 5,5%, 12-month inflation of 4,5%, deflator index of 4,3%.

The Armenian leader also signed laws on introduction of amendments to the laws on Armenia's budget system, state pensions, income tax, Customs Code, state duty, among others, presidential press service reported.
