Armen Rustamian on Karabakh Problem: Cruelty Should Be Returned for Cruelty
When delivering a speech during the "Karabakh Problem: Settlement Prospects" parliamentary hearings Armen Rustamian, the chairman of the NA standing committee on foreign relations, noted the necessity of using the potential of the NKR and Armenian parliaments in corpore. "The war with Azerbaijan is not completed, it just acquired a different form," he said. In his words, the current policy of the Azerbaijani authorities maintains elements of war and this can be proved by the transport blockade of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh as well as militaristic rhetoric.

According the Armenian parliamentarian the present situation demands revision of the parliamentary diplomacy of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. Armen Rustamian underscored that Azerbaijan's policy should receive an adequate response. "Cruelty should be returned for cruelty," he said. In his opinion both Armenian parties should not be afraid of the possibility of consideration of the Karabakh problem in other international structures, what is used by Azerbaijan as a blackmail instrument, reported Mediamax.
