Armenian government approves Customs Union roadmap

The Armenian government has approved the list of measures for joining the Russian-led Customs Union.

“By the governmental decision, the list of 262 measures, of which 150 should be taken before joining the Customs Union, was approved,” Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan said.

For his part, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan urged to pay special attention to the translation of documents. “It’s very important that all the documents are translated correctly and serve the basis for our further work,” he said.

The roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan was signed Tuesday, Dec 24, at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
