Tiberius snatches rights for “Deadly Virtues: Love. Honor. Obey” thriller

Tiberius Films has bought German rights excluding theatrical for erotic thriller “Deadly Virtues: Love. Honor. Obey” for mid-five figures, Variety reported.

Ate de Jong directed the English-language pic from a script by Mark Rogers. The UK-Dutch co-production is the first in a slate of seven “Deadly Virtue” features.

In “Love.Honor.Obey,” a hypnotic home invader terrorizes a suburban couple in the course of a weekend, uncovering an uncomfortable truth about the marriage.

Ate’s most recent film, 2013’s wartime pic “The Rotterdam Bliltz” (formerly titled “Bombardment”) was a Dutch theatrical hit and won the Audience Award at the Woodstock Film Festival last year and sold internationally.

Edward Akrout, Helen Bradbury, Matt Barber, Megan Maczko and Sadie Frost star.
