Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis to present at Academy Awards

Last year's best actor Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis will present an award at this year's Oscars, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Day-Lewis joins previously announced presenter and last year's best actress winner Jennifer Lawrence.

The Oscars typically have the best actor, actress, supporting actor and supporting actress winners from the previous year present awards to their counterparts. It's likely, then, that Lawrence will present this year's best actor trophy, Day-Lewis will present this year's best actress trophy and that last year's best supporting actor and actress winners, Christoph Waltz and Anne Hathaway, will also present awards this year.

In 2013, Day-Lewis won his third Oscar for his performance in Lincoln. He previously won for 2007's There Will Be Blood and 1989's My Left Foot.

The 86th annual Oscars will be presented Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and televised live on ABC. Ellen DeGeneres will host the ceremony, which is being produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
