Virgin Media launches cloud storage service

Virgin Media has launched a cloud storage service for its broadband customers, Digital Spy said.

Developed in conjunction with security company F-Secure, Virgin Media Cloud allows users to back up content for multiple devices and comes with 5GB of free space.

Up to 10 people in a connected household are eligible to receive their own login, and premium packages are on offer for those who require additional storage space.

The subscription options are 50GB for $6.63 a month, 100GB for $9.95a month, 250GB for $23.25 a month, and 500GB for $44.8 a month.

Virgin Media Cloud is compatible with PC, Mac, Android devices running version 2.1 and up, iOS devices running iOS 5 and up, Windows Phone 8, and desktop browsers.
