“Czech That Film” featuring Czech Republic hits to stop at LA

Czech That Film, a touring program of current hits from the Czech Republic, will stop in Los Angeles March 27-April 2, Variety reported.

Jan Hrebejk will introduce his recent project, “Honeymoon,” while Roman Kasparovsky will present the world premiere of his feature debut, “Lousy Bastards.” Both directors will take part in a Q&A after the screenings. Other films in the program include Jiri Menzel’s “Don Juans,” pictured above, Milan Cieslar’s “Colete” and Zdenek Tyc’s “Like Never Before.”

Hosted by the Czech consulate in L.A., Czech Center in New York and USC, the films will unspool at the school. Though screenings are free, reservations are required. Go to cinema.usc.edu/CzechThatFilm for more information.
