“Little Accidents” gets Sun Valley Film Fest Vision Award

Little Accidents was honored with the Vision Award at the third annual Sun Valley Film Festival, which concluded Sunday, March 16, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The award, which recognizes "a producer's ability to keep a dramatic feature length film in focus during the journey of the project," was given to the film's producers, Jason Berman, Anne Carey, Tom Fore and Summer Shelton.

The drama about the disappearance of a teenage boy in a coal-mining town was written and directed by Sara Colangelo and had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

At the festival's awards party, Jeremy Saulnier's Blue Ruin took the top narrative film prize, while Anthony Powell's Antarctica: A Year on Ice claimed the top documentary prize. The audience award was presented to Mike Myer's Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, a documentary about music manager Shep Gordon.
