Motorola is planning to launch a new budget handset dubbed the Moto E next month, according to a report, Digital Spy said.
Portuguese website Tecnoblog claims to have received word of the device from a local operator, which has it pegged as a successor to the entry-level Moto G.
The Moto E is said to feature a 4.3-inch screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera and 4GB of internal memory.
A 1,900mAh battery and the Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system were also listed on the specs sheet provided by the Portuguese operator.
Other features including dual-SIM functionality and a digital TV tuner were also listed, but may be exclusive to specific territories.
Motorola is yet to officially announce the Moto E smartphone.
