Hit costume drama Downton Abbey secured a 100 percent return on its nominations for this year's British Academy Television Craft Awards, dished out by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), The Hollywood Reporter said.

The show, nominated in the costume design category for Caroline McCall, won the golden mask at the awards, which aim to honor the best behind-the-scenes talent from television and new media.

The sound team for a documentary about rock icon David Bowie won the evening's best factual sound plaudit.

Rowan Jennings, Karl Mainzer and Adam Scourfield picked the award up for their work on David Bowie -- Five Years while reps from the special effects banners behind Doctor Who: The Day of The Doctor, Milk VFX, Real SFX and The Model Unit hit the stage to secure the evening's FX team award.

And Phil Heyes picked up the night's multicamera award for his work on Simon Cowell's British The X-Factor.

Going into the awards, BBC Two’s gangster family epic Peaky Blinders, featuring Cillian Murphy and Helen McCrory, led the field with six nominations.

The show's director Otto Bathurst secured the BAFTA craft award in the best director, fiction category, with the show also picking up the photography and lighting fiction category plaudit.

The awards show was hosted by actor Stephen Mangan, the star of Episodes in central London April 27.
