HP planning Slatebook 14 running Android, leaked video suggests

HP looks set to release a new 14-inch laptop running Android, Digital Spy said.

According to a leaked video obtained by Notebook Italia, a Slatebook 14 with a 1080p display could be on the way.

The clip now appears to have been taken offline, but it suggested that the device will have a keyboard like traditional laptops, and the usual Android soft key menu will remain along the bottom of the screen.

However, typical Windows keys have been replaced with Recent Apps and Home.

The laptop will apparently run either Android 4.2 or 4.3, supported by a quad-core NVIDIA processor.

Elsewhere, Beats audio speakers, three USB ports, a full-sized HDMI connector and a headphone jack were spotted, as well as MicroSD and SIM slots.
