Atom Egoyan's Remember, which will star Christopher Plummer, has sold to numerous territories around the world, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Egoyan, who was in Cannes with his competition film The Captive, will direct the thriller, which centers on "the darkest chapter of modern history as it collides with a contemporary mission of revenge."

IM Global's specialty label Acclaim sold the film, with deals concluded in a range of territories including Canada (Entertainment One), France (ARP), Italy (Wild Bunch), Scandinavia (Scanbox), Latin America (Sun), Japan (Asmik Ace), Spain (Wild Bunch), Greece (Spentzos), Indonesia (Cinemaxx), South Africa (Videovision), Israel (United King), Korea (Joy n Contents), Malaysia (Golden Screen), Middle East (Selim Ramia & Co), Taiwan (Catchplay) and the former Yugoslavian territories (Pa Dora). Airline rights were snapped up by Entertainment in Motion while the Asian pay TV was acquired by HBO Asia.

Martin Landau, Dean Norris, Bruno Ganz, Heinz Lieven and Gunter Lamprecht also will star in the film.

From an original screenplay by Benjamin August, Remember is produced by Serendipity Point Films in association with Distant Horizon, Detalle Films, Telefilm Canada and Egoli Tossell. It is produced by Robert Lantos and Ari Lantos, with Mark Musselman and Anant Singh executive producing.
