Warner Bros.’ “Gravity” wins Best of Show prize at Golden Trailer Awards

A trailer for Warner Bros.’ Gravity, titled “Detached,” won the Best of Show prize and also the top honor as Best Thriller at the 15th annual Golden Trailer Awards, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Warners also won the studio tally, taking home 15 Golden Trailer Awards. Universal (along with Focus) claimed a total of nine statuettes while Lionsgate took eight wins. Top trailer and creative vendors included Ignition, whose work was honored in 14 different categories. Buddha Jones earned seven awards while Trailer Park scored six of the coveted trophies.

Jay Mohr served as host and master of ceremonies, while presenters included Neal McDonough, Zach McGowan, Tito Ortiz, Karina Smirnoff and Los Angeles Laker Nick Young. Celebrity judges included Chris Buck, the co-director of Frozen; actor Adam Driver; Entourage creator Doug Ellin; actress Debi Mazar; actor Garret Dillahunt; Divergent director Neil Burger; and Snow White and the Huntsman writer Evan Daugherty.

The Golden Trailer Awards were launched in 1999 by Evelyn Brady-Watters and Monica Brady to recognize the best in worldwide motion picture marketing.
