Anti-Armenian rally dispersed in Baku as NATO seminar continues

NATO will continue its efforts in helping sides of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict to reach agreement, the president of NATO Parliamentary Assembly said on Monday, June 16 at the opening ceremony of Rose Roth seminar in Baku, according to Trend.

According to Hugh Bailey, the conflict can not be resolved by military means.

"Nagorno Karabakh conflict can only be resolved by compromise. In turn, NATO will continue its efforts to ensure that parties of the conflict will come to an agreement," he said.

NATO PA President also expressed satisfaction that the seminar is attended by Armenian delegation.

NATO Parliamentary Assembly's 86th Rose-Roth seminar titled South Caucasus: Challenges and Opportunities has kicked off on Monday in Baku.

Azeri activists from Karabakh Liberation Organisation rallied against Armenian parliamentarian’s visit to Baku, with police dispersing the protesters and confiscated the banners, Haqqin.az said.
