Earin launching "world's smallest wireless earbuds"

Earin is launching a set of wireless earbuds that are small enough to be completely cable free, Digital Spy reported.

The accessories are a Kickstarter project, which has already smashed its $303,000 goal by raising more than $670,000 on the funding platform.

Developed by former Nokia and Sony Ericsson employees, the Earin earbuds use Bluetooth to sync with a device and come with balanced armature speakers for crisp treble and deep bass.

They also feature a minimalist design and high-density rechargeable batteries with a usage time of three hours, which can be doubled thanks to an included capsule charging case.

Earlier this month, Beats Electronics launched its own wireless earbuds in the form of the Powerbeats 2 accessories.

The Earin earbuds will be released in January 2015 with a price tag of $201.
