Jason Sudeikis to join Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson in heist film

Jason Sudeikis is in talks to join Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig in Relativity’s untitled armored car project, formerly known as “Loomis Fargo”, Variety said.

The movie, to be released Aug. 14, 2015, is set to begin production in July with Jared Hess (“Napoleon Dynamite”) directing from a script by Emily Spivey, Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer.

Galifianakis portrays an armored vehicle driver and Wiig will play his love interest. Wilson will portray the leader of a gang of half-brained criminals.

Lorne Michaels (“Mean Girls,” “Saturday Night Live”) and John Goldwyn (“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”) are producing. Exec producers include Danny McBride, Jody Hill, Kevin Messick, Erin David and Relativity president Tucker Tooley.

Brett Dahl is overseeing the film on behalf of the studio.

Sudeikis is currently filming “Sleeping with Other People” and will next be seen in “Horrible Bosses 2″ and “Tumbledown.”
