The Armenian National Committee of South America (Consejo Nacional Armenio, CNA) has granted Hrant Dink certificate of honor to Argentine journalist Reynaldo Sietecase during a ceremony attended by politicians, human rights advocates and representatives of the Armenian community.

“It’s a great honor and responsibility for me to receive such an award,” Sietecase said, adding that now he got a new impetus for his further work.

As to his activity regarding the Armenian Cause, the journalist said that being a human rights advocate he could never remain indifferent to the struggle for justice.

“While collecting materials about the Armenian Genocide I saw how painful the memory is. But this pain is important, since it forms the consciousness,” Sietecase said.
