The increase in electricity tariffs is inevitable, with Armenia’s energy security and sustainable work of its energy system wholly dependent on the move, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources said, according to Panorama.am.

“The price increase is quite unpleasant, but there are issues that need to be solved,” Yervand Zakharyan remarked, commenting on the decision of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to increase electricity tariffs in Armenia.
