12 airlines to discuss entry to Armenian market with NCFA

National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) jointly with the Ministry of Economy will start negotiations with 12 airlines to discuss the latters' entry to the Armenian market. The talks will be held on the sidelines of Routes Silk Road 2014 forum in Tbilisi.

Routes Silk Road, to last through July 8 unlocks aviation and tourism potential of Asia, the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East, while serving as an effective platform of promotion of new airlines and development of air services.

Over 250 aviation professionals, 35 airlines and 45 airports participate in the event.

During the forum, NCFA CEO Arman Khachaturyan gave a keynote speech. He represented the activities and results of Armenian tourism promotion, the government-adopted open skies policy, as well as the perspectives of Armenia's cooperation with the international markets, NCFA press service reported.
