Russian PM expected to visit Armenia in early September

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is expected to visit Armenia in early September, Prime Minister said, according to ARKA.

As Hovik Abrahamyan said Monday, August 18 at a meeting with participants of the youth camp Baze-2014 in Tsakhkadzor, a preliminary arrangement was made during his recent visit to Russia.

The premier also said he intended to meet his Georgian and Iranian counterparts.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili will arrive in Armenia on August 21 for an official visit, and on September 15 Abrahamyan will travel to Iran, Russian media report.

“These countries are very important for our economy – there are many projects connected with Russia, Iran and Georgia,” he said.
