Armenia to receive Euro 170 million in EU reforms funding

The European Union will allocate Euro 140 to 170 million to Armenia between 2014 and 2017 for development of private sector and implementation of reforms in the sectors of public administration and justice, according to Panorama.am.

On Monday, September 8 the European Commission ruled to provide funding to the EU Neighborhood partners.

This package includes programs to the total amount of Euro 5.5 billion for Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia.

The priorities of the financing have been set in close cooperation with authorities, civil society representatives and concerned parties in each of the partner countries.
