Hewlett-Packard has added some colour to its range with the launch of its HP Stream line of tablets and laptops, Digital Spy reported.

The series consists of two computers and two slates that come with affordable price tags and the Windows 8.1 operating system.

The PCs include an Intel Celeron processor, 32GB of flash memory storage, and either an 11.6-inch or 13.3-inch HD screen.

HP is offering the larger machine with additional extras, such as a touch display and 200MB of free 4G data each month.

Also powered by Microsoft's latest operating system, the HP Stream 7 and the HP Stream 8 tablets measure in at 7 inches and 8 inches respectively.

HP is throwing in a range of bonuses with each device, including free cloud storage, free 4G connectivity off contract, 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive storage and Office 365 Personal access for a year.

Plans to launch the devices outside of North America are yet to be announced.
