1st "Jurassic World" trailer introduces "genetically modified hybrid"

The first trailer of Universal Pictures' "Jurassic World" is unleashed two days earlier than its Thursday, November 27 schedule. The official one will still air on NBC during Thanksgiving football which starts at 8:30 P.M. EST, AceShowbiz said.

Trailer begins with Ty Simpkins being sent to have fun at the newly-opened park in Isla Nublar. Everything in the park starts out smoothly and even manages to amaze the crowd. However, as Bryce Dallas Howard introduces the "first genetically modified hybrid", things turn bad in an instant. The hybrid has escaped its 'cage' and is on the hunt.

"You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea," Chris Pratt tells Howard. Not only the creature, which is not seen in the trailer, is smart but it will also kill anything that moves. Pratt orders the island to be evacuated immediately. Simpkins gets cornered by the creature while Pratt is chased on foot.

"Jurassic World" is set 22 years after the events in Steven Spielberg's 1993 film "Jurassic Park". Hapless humans once again are pitted against dinosaurs created from ancient strands of DNA. Colin Trevorrow directed from a script he wrote with Derek Connolly. It will hit U.S. theaters June 12, 2015.
