Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" trailer

The new trailer for Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service gives us a greater glimpse at Valentine, the fiendish yet funny villain played by Samuel L. Jackson, The Hollywood Reporter said.

In the clip we see Valentine tell Colin Firth's Harry Hart that his dream was to become a "gentleman spy." Clearly something went wrong with the young Valentine. And he's still not loving the sight of blood.

There's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it peek at Mark Hamill playing Professor James Arnold and we also learn more about the people running the secretive super spy organization the Kingsman.

Merlin (Mark Strong) and the very-well attired head honcho Arthur (Michael Caine) both appear and conform to the Kingsman archetype of being suave, impeccably well dressed and painfully English.

There's also a rather wince inducing look at the fighting skills of Valentine's henchwoman Gazelle (Sofia Boutella).

Based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbon's comic series The Secret Service, the Kingsman follows the story of an errant youth called Eggsy (Taron Egerton) who is recruited by Harry Hart to become a super spy.
