Apple has resumed the sale of Bose headphones and speakers after the audio brand settled a lawsuit with the iPhone maker's Beats subsidiary, according to Digital Spy.

Products including the SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III have reappeared on Apple's website and in its stores following a month-long absence.

Neither Apple nor Bose have commented on the reinstatement, but it is thought to be connected to the end of a legal row between Bose and Beats Electronics over noise-cancellation patents.

The US International Trade Commission was investigating allegations that Beats infringed five Bose patents, but the dispute has now been settled out of court.

Adding fire to the controversy, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was fined in October for wearing a set of Beats headphones during a press conference, violating the terms of the NFL's sponsorship agreement with Bose.

Apple completed its $3 billion acquisition of Beats over the summer.
