BBC Music Awards' Song of the Year shortlist announced

The shortlist for the BBC Music Awards' Song of the Year has been announced, according to Dgital Spy.

Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' (featuring Jess Glynne), Lorde track 'Royals' and Sam Smith's 'Money on My Mind' are among the ten nominees.

'Sing' by Ed Sheeran, 'Ghost' by Ella Henderson and Pharrell Williams single 'Happy' are also listed.

Coldplay song 'A Sky Full of Stars' and George Ezra's 'Budapest' are nominated, with Kiesza's 'Hideaway' and Nico & Vinz track 'Am I Wrong' completing the list.

The inaugural BBC Music Awards takes place tomorrow (Thursday, December 11) at London's Earls Court.

Voting for Song of the Year opens to the public on the same day, from 7.30am until 7.20pm. It is the only award that is voted for via text and online.

The BBC Music Awards will be hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton.
