G8 countries have urged Armenia and Azerbaijan to work out principles of Nagorno Karabakh settlement to attain it this year, says a statement of G8 Chair, released upon the meeting of FMs. «We stressed the need for soonest arrangement of basic principles of the peaceful settlement of the conflict to attain it in 2006. We call Armenia and Azerbaijan to display political will and achieve an agreement over the problem this year and prepare their peoples to peace, not war,» the statement underscored, reports RIA Novosti.
