1st look at Henry Cavill as CIA agent in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

The first still from '60s-themed spy story "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." has been released. Unveiled over the weekend by the Warner Bros., the image shows Henry Cavill ("Man of Steel"), Armie Hammer ("The Social Network") and Alicia Vikander ("The Great Gatsby") posing together on a rooftop, AceShowbiz said.

The British actor plays a CIA agent named Napoleon Solo in the height of the Cold War. Wearing a white shirt, vest and matching pants, Cavill leans on the railing while holding a glass of drink. Hammer, who portrays a KGB agent named Illya Kuryakin, looks cool in a brown jacket and a pair of shades. Vikander, meanwhile, sports a sleeveless white dress and a pair of unflattering shades.

Adapted from a hugely popular TV series, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." tells the story of the two agents who must put aside their differences to stop a mysterious international criminal organization whose activities disrupt the peace. The daughter of a missing scientist will be their key into the investigation and infiltration to the organization.

"Sherlock Holmes" director Guy Ritchie serves behind the lens and co-wrote the script alongside Lionel Wigram. Apart from the three actors, it also stars Elizabeth Debicki and Jared Harri. It arrives in U.S. theaters on August 14.
