VivaCell-MTS’ network handled 3,352,129 text messages on December 31, the New Year’s Eve before midnight, with a further 3,102,070 on January 1, 2015.

At the same time, 21,303,637 calls were handled through the company’s network on December 31, 2014 before midnight, and another 21,382,323 on January 1, 2015.

In total 6,454,199 short messages and 42,685,960 calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2014 and January 1, 2015.

The number of calls increased by 6.32% and the number of text messages decreased by 14.43% against the same period in 2014.
