About 300 ceasefire violations by the Azeri side were reported at the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijani armed forces on the night of Jan 17.

Azerbaijan fired over 3000 shots from various caliber weapons towards the positions of Karabakh defense army, which observed the ceasefire and retaliated only in case of necessity.

In all, about 1200 ceasefire violations by Azeris were registered from Jan 11-17, with Azerbaijan firing over 12000 shots from various caliber weapons towards the Karabakh defense army positions.
