The Pirate Bay resurfaces online 7 days after police seized servers

The Pirate Bay has resurfaced online once again at its original web address.

A countdown for the return of the notorious torrent site appeared on its website last week, suggesting that The Pirate Bay could resume operations within ten days.

As AceShowbiz reports citing Torrent Freak, the website returned ahead of the scheduled February 1 date on Saturday, January 31 and features a phoenix image to mark the service's rise from the ashes.

Pirate Bay was taken offline following Swedish police raids in December.

Little after, rival torrent service IsoHunt launched a faux version of the platform to fill the void.

It is believed that Pirate Bay operators from all over the world are behind the relaunch.
