LG G4 rumored to feature 3K display with super-high resolution

The LG G4 will be the highest-resolution smartphone on the market if the latest reports turn out to be accurate, Digital Spy reveals.

A mystery device with the model number 'LG-VS999' and a 3K display boasting 1620 x 2880 resolution has emerged on the MyLG website.

The handset, which is capable of displaying imagery in 600ppi, is believed to be the successor to the LG G3, which was assigned the model number 'LG VS985'.

Previous reports suggest that the LG G4 will come with a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera, a Snapdragon 810 and 3GB of RAM.

It is also expected to launch alongside a stylus accessory called the 'G Pen', but it is unknown whether this will come bundled with the device.

LG is expected to announce its next flagship smartphone around the time of the Mobile World Congress in early March.
