Vision Films picks up sci-fi thriller “The Quiet Hour”

Vision Films has picked up worldwide sales rights on Stephanie Joalland’s sci-fi thriller “The Quiet Hour”, starring Dakota Blue Richards (“The Golden Compass”) and Karl Davis (“Game of Thrones”), Variety said.

The pic, which is produced by Sean McConville of U.K.-based Frenzy Films, takes place in a post-apocalyptic England, where a determined teenage girl must protect her younger brother and defend her parents’ farm in a world occupied by alien invaders.

Frenzy is also developing “Black Sky,” a low-budget sci-fi horror, and “The Car,” a supernatural horror in the vein of “Let the Right One” and “The Grudge.”
