Samuel L. Jackson to star in Tim Burton's “Home for Peculiar Children”

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" may have found their villain. Rumor has it, Samuel L. Jackson in negotiations to take on a key role named Mr. Barron which is reportedly the bad guy in the Tim Burton upcoming movie, AceShowbiz reports.

"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" actress Eva Green is tapped to portray the titular character, while "Ender's Game" star Asa Butterfield is cast in the lead role of a 16-year-old boy named Jacob. The film is slated for March 4, 2016 release.

It sees Jacob following clues that take him to a mysterious island where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacobs explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.

Samuel L. Jackson will next be seen in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron". He is also involved in "The Hateful Eight" and "Tarzan". He reportedly landed the villainous role in Burton's film after pushing aside Laurence Fishburne and Amanda Seyfried.
