Legitimacy of Georgian President Questioned
July 19 the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg took to consideration the suit brought by the Georgian Labor Party on illegitimacy of Mikhail Saakashvili's government and the incumbent Georgian parliament.

The hearing is scheduled for September 18, 2006. The Labor Party's leader Shalva Natelashvili described the decision by the Strasbourg Court as "a unique chance to peacefully get rid of Saakashvili's regime. He said he will attend the court session and offered Saakashvili to do the same, reported RIA Novosti.
